Colleen was born on July 8, 1926, to Edd and Ivy Reece of Union, Iowa. She graduated from New Providence High School in 1943. Shortly after graduating she met and later married Neil Willia. In 1963 she and the Family moved to Hiawatha, Iowa, at which time she became employed by Longview Fiber. She retired in 1988 after 22 years of faithful service.

She was the proud parent of five children, all of whom survive her and include Mary Willia of Beverly Hills, California; Richard Willia of Sioux City, Iowa; Patricia Lepper and Brian Willia of Phoenix, Arizona; and Linda Lankford of Dallas, Texas. Colleen was blessed with nine Grandchildren - Jenny, Joy, Jill, Jacque, Brent, Chelsea, Brianna, Alyssa, Marshall and six Great Grandchildren - Mason, Abby, Caden, Coen, Jersey and, most recently, Josey. She was preceded in death by her Parents and only sibling, Frances Juncker.

She was especially fond of children and often found giggling like a young school girl at the slightest opportunity.

Colleen’s devotion to the Lord came to define her life in many ways. She was encouraging of the young, capturing their attention and always fueling their ambitions and understanding their failures. Her compassion for the elderly and sick was undeniable as was her energy to make them more comfortable in difficult times. She tirelessly continued to give of herself to others throughout her later years, her energy for their well-being never failing. She enjoyed her church, Noelridge Park, her work with Aid to Women, and was a frequent volunteer for many local projects.

The Angels’ trumpets have surely sounded with great joy the homecoming of a dutiful Servant.
