"Charlie" was one of my first friends in Kindergarten at Taylor School. His Dad has a grocery store catty corner from my Grandmother and Aunt-the Rubys on 9th Ave. He was the nicest boy I ever knew in school. My sympathy is extended to his loving family.

DEAR FAMILIES OF CHARLIE IGRAM: IT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS THAT I READ OF CHARLIE'S PASSING. HE WAS IN MY WILSON HS CLASS OF 1944 AND WE HAVE KEPT IN TOUCH THROUGHOUT THE YEARS. I HAVE MANY FOND MEMORIES OF OUR HS DAYS TOGETHER THAT WILL BE WITH ME ALWAYS. I DO WISH HIS FAMILY AT THIS TIME A FRESH TOUCH FROM GOD THAT WILL SUSTAIN THEM DURING THIS TIME OF LOSS AND AS THIS DARK CLOUD PASSES. DICK TRUESDELL

Dear Family, I still remember running around Charlie's Steakhouse & Charlie's Pizzeria as a kid with Charlie's kids. I also remember Charlie's great smile. Our families thoughts and prayers are with yours. Marina, Leslie, & Phillip Abodeely

To all the wonderful Igram family members. We all know how special Charlie was to the community. He was truly a unique man. Love of God and family were most important to him. He will certainly be missed.

The special memories I have of this wonderful man go back as far as I am able to remember. From the Old Hickory Restaurant to the card games to the ball games and all the other precious times where God allowed me the honor of being in the presence of this most dynamic human being, the only words I'd be able to say to Charlie at this time is "THANK YOU." Thank you for the love and treasured friendship you showed my parents over the past sixty years, and for my siblings and myself as well. It was an honor and a joy to know this beautiful man, and I thank God for the years in which Charlie was a special part of my life. I last saw him two years ago at my uncle's funeral, and, although having recently suffered a stroke which took away most of his motor skills, his mind was as sharp as ut ever was. I'll always cherish that last conversation we had, as well as all the other special times I was able to spend in his presence. Go with God, Charlie, and rest well. And is it just me, or do I sense a pinochle game taking place in Heaven right now with Charlie and his friends who proceeded him to paradise?
