Khalil “Charlie” Igram, 82, of 2542 30th St SW died Tuesday May 26, 2009 in Mercy Medical Center following a long illness. Services were held Tuesday. Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel was in charge of the arrangements. Burial: Islamic National Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include his wife, Yusra Igram, 3 sons and 3 daughters, his siblings, Fatima Hutchings of Cedar Rapids, Naifi Dingle of Colorado and Nagi Igram of Cedar Rapids. Also surviving are 25 beautiful grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

His parents and sister Sahadi preceded him in death.

Khalil was born in Lebanon, the son of Hassan and Lila Igram. He married Yusra El Sayed in 1953 in London, Ontario. He retired from Cedar Graphics in 2000. He was a member of the Islamic Center of Cedar Rapids. He was a man of great faith and worshiped one God. He loved his family very much and his wife Yusra was the love of his life.
