Dear Pinkie and Anne,we never met, but our mom's were good friends. My mom was Doris Werth. She passed in Nov. 2008. I am very thankfull for your mom's friendship with my mom. She would call my mom at least three times a day. Some times she would be my mom's gaudian angel. I had met your mom a few times but talked to her many when she could not get ahold of my mom by phone. Ellen will be missed. Nina Werth Kaegbein

Dear Ingrid and Ann, I was sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. She was such a nice women. I had just recently learned she lived near my folks. My brother, Kevin had been delivering meals on wheels to her. I still have the clipping from the Gazette with her "Johnny cookies" recipe and a lovely photo. I can't believe how long it has been since John passed. Time passes so quickly. I hope you are both well and that you you find comfort in your faith. God bless you all. Mary (Christenson) Ruffcorn (A friend of John's years back.) I appreciated you sending me the letters I had written to John, Ann. Thank you again.

I am so sorry to learn that Ellen has past. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful friend and kind lady. I wish I had kept in touch with her better. I have thought of Ellen often in these past years and have missed our conversations we had on her porch. She will always be remembered with love and kindess.
