Geneva I. Bartlett, 85, of 2135 1st Ave. SE died Wednesday April 22, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center after a short illness. Services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday.
She is survived by a sister, Corda McClure of Havana, Illinois, four nieces, Shirlee Clark, Paulette Howard, Linda David, Crystal Stuffelbean and a brother-in law- John Peterson. She was preceded in death by a son, Harold V. Stokley, three sisters and four brothers.
Geneva was born on May 28, 1923 in Havana, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence and Myrtle Gilmore Huston. She married Max L. Bartlett on Dec. 31, 1965 in Blue Earth, Minnesota. He died in 2006. Geneva was a homemaker. Memorial donation may be given to Faith Bible Church.
