Mark David Paulsen

Mark was a great Brother and my best friend. I will truly miss the Sunday morning telephone sessions. To wife Mary I'm sorry for your loss cause you both were true soul mates through good and bad times. I say farewell to Brother Mark for now but know one thing we will meet up again on the other side when my time has come. Be assured we will sit around and reminisce old war stories. Joe

What a dear brother Mark was from the very beginning July 10, 1956. I remember the phone call telling us we had a new baby brother.I was so disappointed Mark was not the baby sister I wanted. That disappointment lasted until he was brought into the house. From that moment on, Mark was 'MY' baby. Oh how dearly I loved him! While Mark was a baby we shared a room, then as we grew through our childhood and teens we stored up many, many memorable experiences. Then I married and moved away and Mark went to the Navy. We kept close with lots of visits as Mark would drive up to see us in No. VA from his port in Norfolk, VA.Once we had children we got together every summer for his annual July 4th celebration with all the family. The good times have continued and now after 52 years of memories I must say good-bye. It is going to be so very hard to not share anymore times with you, Mark. I know I will 'adjust' but it is going to be difficult. You were such a sweetheart and I will always treasure my time with you and all the love you gave me. I know Mary will keep you alive in all our hearts. I will miss you so much and look forward to when we are all together again! For now, give Dad my love! Linda

Mark, what a sweet young boy you were and you continued to show that sweetness throughout your life. You had twinkling eyes, a tender heart, a special "drawl" in your voice, and a smile that could melt icecream. We all loved you Mark. I treasure the times we went to your July 4th summer BBQs. I treasure the last time I saw you and Mary at my mom's funeral. We had a chance to visit and catch up on old times. Mark, take care, you are a dear soul. I smile when I think of you. You are an ambassador of kindness in heaven. We send you our love and look forward to seeing you in heaven, though our hearts are deep in sadness at your parting. Love, Marge NK
