Memorial

On April 9, 2009 Norbert Brasser, 80, was taken home to be with the Lord. Norb was born on July 20, 1928 in Oostburg, Wisconsin to Jacob and Alida Brasser. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Madison and worked as an insurance agent. He was Vice President of Iowa National and Grinnell Mutual, retiring in 1995.
Norbert married Nora Ruselink on May 17, 1952 in Hingham, Wisconsin. They had three children. Norbert was an active member of Peace Christian Reformed Church serving as an elder for many years. He enjoyed gardening and working with Boy Scouts.

He is survived by his wife, his children, Cheryl Ver Hulst, Wisconsin Rapids, David, Cedar Rapids, and Susan Brasser, San Diego. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Jennifer Ver Hulst, Milwaukee, Matthew Ver Hulst, Wisconsin Rapids, and one great grandchild, Cobi Ver Hulst.

Services 1:00 PM, Saturday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Rev. Don Griffioen will officiate. Entombment at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral from 4 to 7 PM on Friday.
