Edythe E. Borgers, 93, of 130 Thompson Drive SE Cedar Rapids died Friday February 20, 2009 at Mercy Hallmar after a brief illness. Per Edythe’s request there will be no visitation or memorial service. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.

Edythe is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Fred.
Survivors include her daughter Diane Wagner and son-in-law Michael of Marion and a grand daughter Darcie Rehmel of Boulder, CO

Edythe was born February 15, 1916 in London Ontario, Canada to James and Vera Wakeling. She married Frederick P. Borgers in Detroit, MI. She was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan and wishes them luck in the future.
