Tyler Nathan Toll, 18, of 500 Camelot Place, died February 10, 2009 at St. Luke’s Hospital from injuries following a car accident. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, February 13, 2009 at Cedar Valley Bible Church. Pastor Tristan Guthrie will officiate. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 12, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cedar Valley Bible Church. Arrangements entrusted to Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Survivors include his parents Wendy and Todd, brother Devin, and sister Chelsea all of Robins; grandmother Nancy Toll, grandparents William and Sally Schaab all of Cedar Rapids; great grandmother Betty Oser of Scottsdale, AZ; uncle Judd Toll of Cedar Rapids; aunts Kim Ward of Cedar Rapids, Michelle (Michael) Zika of Marion, and Sonya (Patrick) Hughes of Shakopee, MN. He is also survived by 9 cousins, 5 great aunts and uncles, and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather William Toll, maternal great-grandfather Leo (Bud) Oser, and his beloved dog Dalab.

Tyler Nathan Toll was born July 3, 1990 in Cedar Rapids, at Mercy Medical Center, the son of Todd W. and Wendy S. (Schaab) Toll. He was a student at Cedar Valley Christian School, and was in his final year, set to graduate in May. He was involved in many youth groups, drama productions, and enjoyed attending and cheering on the sports teams at his school. He also volunteered throughout the community, and will be remembered for his heart to serve others. He also had a great enjoyment of cars. Tyler will forever be remembered for his contagious smile and his loving personality.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the memorial fund established in Tyler’s name.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Marion Police Department, St. Luke’s Hospital, and Cedar Valley Christian School.
