Darlene Vivian Logemann, 80, a resident of Linn Manor Care in Marion, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center following a short illness. Services will be held at 1 PM Saturday in Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Rev. William Harnish will officiate. Burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after noon on Saturday. Arrangements by Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Survivors include a son Rick (Cindie) Logemann of Marion, daughter Vicki (George Alamo) Logemann of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a sister Diane Kaufman of Denver, Colorado, two brothers Rodney Plum of Freeport, Illinois, and Stanley Plum of Kansas City, Kansas, three grandchildren, Erin (Ike) Light, and Bret (Abby) Logemann all of Cedar Rapids, and Maria Alamo of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a great granddaughter Charly Lyn Logemann, She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers Robert, Roger, and Donye Plum.

Darlene was born October 29, 1928 in Stockton, Illinois, to Clarence and Muriel West Plum. She married Richard W. Logemann on May 3, 1952 in Anchorage, Alaska. She was a licensed beautician. She was a seamstress and quilter, She enjoyed music, gardening, and crafting.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson’s research in care of Cedar Memorial or her family.
