My condolences to you on the passing of your father. The last time I saw Heinie, was unfortunately at the visitation of my husband, Al Wilson; and as usual, Heinie was Heinie. I am so glad he was able to make it. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Cherish and remember all the stories you will hear over the next few days regarding Heinie, as those are wonderful memories you will have forever. Gloria Wilson I will always remember, when I was little, asking Dad (Al Wilson), why any mother would name her child "Heinie", as I never knew him by any other name. My Dad's quick wit responded with, 'his mother had a sense of humor'. Heinie was a good man, and a good friend of Mom and Dad's. Joan Gray

Sorry we won't be able to attend as we are in Florida for the winter. He was like a brother to me. He lived with us from 1937-1946. We did stopped to see him in October before we left. We're glad we did. Bob and Joyce Knake

Was sorry to hear of Heinie's passing. I knew him since 1963 @ Link-Belt Speeder/FMC and especially during times of bowling. He was a well respected man in any circumstance. Condolences to the family.

First, let me express my deepest sympathy for the loss of such a wonder human being. I knew John thru his many visits to Wolfe Clinic. My name is Bekki (for those trying to place me, I have many children, and was one of his many "Matildas"). I was fortunate to have many conversations about his lifestyle growing up and his family. What a proud father and grandfather he was. And boy did he miss "his Connie". We have laughed, we've cried (he was good @ making me cry) He told of a story that happened recently. There was a little girl that was crying over the loss of her dolly in the flood. He overheard the conversation while eating out. Broke his heart. He gave her mother $100 so she could go buy her daughter a dolly. In his words "every little girl needs a doll". What a kind and gentle soul. A man with such kindness and love in his heart has to have a very special place held for him in Heaven. I am very sad for those he has left behind, but happy for a very deserving man to be at Peace. I'm sure you all have many treasured memories to hold. I will always carry mine close to my heart. He will be missed. Bekki

I am sorry for the loss of John. He was such a sweet (and sassy) person. I was also one of his Matilda's. I did Connie's hair for years at Regis and John faithfully brought her in every Friday morning at 9:00 am for her appointment. I still miss seeing Connie. Every year my kids make me switch out my hummingbird for my snowman that John made for us. I know your loss is great but now John and Connie can finally enjoy that retirement.

Deb... I was your first babysitter on Wildwood Drive! I fondly remember both of your parents from those early days. My sympathy to you and your family.
