L. Charleen Pritchard Mauren passed away on January 28, 2009 of a brief illness. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 2, 2009 at St. Matthew Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband Jerry Mauren and their three sons: Michael (Janice) Mauren of Dallas, TX; Mathew Mauren of Cedar Rapids; and Max (Sherrie) Mauren of Marion. Also surviving are her sister Rosemary (Joe) DeMaria of Cedar Rapids, two beloved grandchildren, Jacob and Gabrielle, and dear family friend Laura Bay Green.

Charleen was born on Dec. 3, 1937 in Rockwell City, Iowa the daughter of John William and Lois Ellen Pritchard. She married Jerry Mauren on Aug 6, 1960 in Iowa City. Charleen was a homemaker; she loved to shop, cheer on the Iowa Hawkeyes, and play with her grandchildren. She loved well and was well loved.
