I am sorry about the loss of your loved one. Words cannot describe feelings in a time like this. Many have found comfort in the Bible's promises of seeing our past loved ones again such as at John verses 28 and 29. Take care of yourselves and keep memories of your past loved one close.

Dor and family - One of my earliest childhood memories include you Dory, and Ken. I specifically recall homecoming my sophmore year. I was going with one of the cutest boys in the school! Ken and my Dad were there to greet him and lay down the rules. The two of them, arms crossed, with their silver grey coifs ensured I was home before curfew! In short, it was always amazing to me that someone, who was not family, could love us as much as you did...You and Ken are an inspiration to me in my life, with my family and friends. I love you dearly, and will have Ken in my heart always.

I love my Papa Ken and I will miss him very much! I will definately miss hearing "I like mckie" as it is a very fond memory of mine! I think it's amazing to hear from everyone who loved him so, and now I know where my Uncle Craig got all his love and kindness. :) Papa Ken always made me laugh. One of my last memories of the last time I saw him, he was laughing and making a funny comment on how much food I could stuff in my mouth :) His laughter lit up his face with glassy eye's that I wont ever forget! Lots of love and hugs to everyone who lost their friend, and my Papa Ken! Love you, Your first Granddaughter, Hayley L. Smith*

Dear Dorothy and familly-I was sad to read of Ken's death. I golfed with Ken and Roger Schreder many times in the early 2000's and enjoyed every minute of it( I would drive us out to the Wildcat golf course in Shellsburg and they would inevitably fall asleep on the drive back!! :)) Ken could tell a great joke and loved to hear one too. He always had a story ready for us at the downtown YMCA. I really loved him and will miss him. Bill Stone

Dearest Dorothy, Scott and I were saddened to hear of Ken's passing. We first met Ken at Gateway Gardens and then to have you both as neighbors on Sunland Ct. was "priceless". We remember Ken as always smiling, joking and fun to be around. I can still picture him out front washing his car. Our sincerest condolences to you and the family. Jo and Scott Bogguss
