Dear Shetler family, it has been a long time but I worked with Darlene at Barlow's from the time it opened until I had my first daughter on July 4th, 1976. I have many fond memories of Darlene,she took me under her wing and even made the mints for my wedding at your home. I always will remember her cute/serious little smile. Blessings upon you,Bob and family! I just learned of Darlene's death and I was reminded of the times that we were in class together. She was a good friend of my cousin,Dorothy Gouldin. Now they are both in Heaven. Praise God that He is Good and His mercies are new every morning.
