Our family shares fond memories of Helen attending my daughters' (Hilary & Shammara) track meets and basketball games. I enjoyed working with her at Rockwell-Collins for many years. We were blessed to have her in our lives. She is at peace with God now. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I have so many great memories of my Aunt Helen, she had a great sense of humor. I remember that she and my mom (Liz) were so close. As a child, it seemed like they were always on the phone with each other! She will be missed.

Oh, Helen!!! i miss you so much!! I work @ Keystone Cedars and had the pleasure of being around her alot. She is one of the most energetic people I know!! Always leading a helping hand in cleaning and just being there to talk to! Whenever I was in a bad mood or work was just a little streesful, I could walk into Helen's room and she'd make my day better! And I loved playing the piano w/ her while the boys played cards!! She is truly an amazing person who I will always hold close to my heart. My thoughts and prayers go to her whole family!! I will miss her smile and they way she would brighten up a room!!

To Helen's Family: I will miss Helen very much. Helen added so much to our community. She can not be replaced. I admired her accomplishments and vivacious personality. My grandma would have liked Helen very much. I loved seeing the photo's. So many were taken of her outside, where she loved to be... I wish I could have ran a race with Helen. That would have been special to me. (She would have beat though!) Hopefully, when I get to Heaven she'll do that with me. You all should be proud of your commitment, support and dedication throughout these last few years. Thank you again for sharing Helen with Keystone Cedars! We were all so lucky to get to know her. I worked with Helen at Rockwell for only a few years but she had a profound impact on me. She was always so upbeat and loved to joke around....after she got all of her work done of course! More importantly she stood out as a real role model...not just her work ethic but the way she treated people and was always so physically fit. I will truly miss her. You will be in my prayers.

My prayers and thoughts go out to Helen's family. She will be greatly missed by everyone. I worked along side Helen most of her 24 years at Rockwell. She was a very kind and giving person. We are both Irish so we had some "tiffs" once in awhile. We would argue about who was the most Irish and of course I am a Cubs fan and she was a Braves fan. It was all in fun. We did agree on politics and Norte Dame. She loved her family very much. She was very proud of all of you. I will always remember Helen. She was a positive impact on my life. Betty Achey

To Helen's family: Helen played (every pun intended) a great part in my formative years as a young church musician. She taught me the difference between a a "soloist" and and "accompanist", and that not all soloists make good accompanists! Helen was both...although I think she preferred being a skilled accompanist. Music links the earthly soul to the heavens; and I just bet there are many who have experienced a bit of heaven through her music! Because I can't be physically present for her "Celebration of Life" service, I will celebrate her life here at home by playing something in her honor - around the time of the service - on the old Wurlitzer organ that I've had since my grade school years, when we first encountered one another as musicians. Jim, my classmate, consider yourself "appropriately" hugged. Her physical presence will be greatly missed; yet I am convinced those who we can no longer physically see or touch do stay involved in the lives of the loved ones left behind... as "Love NEVER dies." Liz Koffron-Eisen, Deacon P.S. Helen, if you encounter my mother, Esther Koffron, and my Aunt Grace Seiler-Penrod is with her, could you please play "Whispering Hope" for Aunt Grace? It's her favorite. (I assume you are on the organist rotation by now.)

Dear Strickland Family- What great memories I have of your Mom and your family! All the going back and forth between houses, calling out the kitchen window over to your house, picnics at Central City...the list goes on and on! Helen was/is my second mother. I am so fortunate to have had Helen in my life. I love her dearly. A great deal of my childhood memories are the wonderful times I spent at the Stricklands house growing up next door. Helen lives on forever in my heart because a part of her is in me. The love she showed me has helped create the person I am today. I thank God for giving me the gift of having Helen and her beautiful family in my life. My thoughts are with all of you guys at this time and always. with love & prayers, Ruthann
