Mary E. Carfrae
The entire Benning family sends their heart-felt condolences. The Carfraes have been like a second family to me and I still remember going to Jack & Mary's house to go swimming in their indoor swimming pool in Coralville. We will continue to keep your family in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Jenny (Benning)Clendenin

To all the Carfrae family. Jim and I are sad to hear about your mom. We are so glad though that we got to see her this fall. There are so many wonderful memories of your mom. She and your dad really put up with alot when their kids friends invaded their home... But we were always welcomed with open arms. And we will always love her for that. She will be forever dear in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. love Jim and Chris Sievers

I am so sorry that Mrs. Cargrae passed away. Both Mr. and Mrs. Carfrae were patients of mine for many years before my retirement. They were fine people. It was a pleasure and a privilege to have known and served them. Regards, Whealen Koontz, M.D.

We just received our Christmas Greeting from Heaven yesterday. We are so happy that you shared the news of Mary's passing with us. How wonderful that theyare both in Heaven and will not have spent a Christmas apart since their marriage. We will always fondly remember our times on Jeep rides, at parties and other functions with both Jack and Mary here in Queen Valley. Harold will always remember when after his buggy broke down he had to beg Jack for a ride home in the back of his jeep, And I will always treasurer Mary's Death by Chocolate Recipe.
