Lora J. Crosby

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother and our aunt. I was glad to have been able to see her at the time of Uncle Don's passing. Our prayers are will all of you. I will remember the family reunions in Webster City with your whole family and the fun that the cousins could have together. May we all hold to those memories and remember the good times in Aunt Lora's life. God Bless Chuck & Theresa Juhl and Family

Devora, Devora, Devora, I am soooooooo sorry for the loss of not only your mother but your father also. I know what you're feeling right now. Please know that I love you lots and that my heart is hurting for you. Your mother is just as beautiful as I remember her. I will cherish that page of drawings she gave me 35 years ago forever. Call me whenever you need a shoulder to cry on because I'll always be here. Take care and I will talk to you soon. Teresa Vandel Foote

My deepest sympathies go out to all of Lora's family. I knew Lora through the Hiawatha Public Library which is where I work. It was always a joy to see Lora. She always had a smile on her face. I'm sorry I hadn't noticed that I hadn't seen her in a while. I believe I remember her husband too. They were often together. I told Lora once that her husband reminded me of Santa Claus(I think I'm thinking of the right guy - with his white beard?. I'm so sorry to hear of both of them passing on. We will certainly miss them both here at HPL They seemed to be very gentle and loving people. The world has been a better place because of their presence. My heart goes out to you.

Devora, Kreg, and Doug, We were so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. We truly loved spending time with her. She was such a fun lady and so very generous. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. She and Linus are watching over all of us right now!

I taught Kindergarten at Jackson and Lora worked right beside me. She brightened my day with her smile and love of the children. She once painted a thank you on a paper bag showing Santa and his reindeer. I still have it. If any of the family would like it, please email me. I framed it and it decorated my room at Jackson. She was a great lady. Elaine Fox
