Dear Vickie, Karen & Julie, I am so sorry that you have lost your beautiful mother. What a great friend Donna was to my parents and to me. I will always be thankful for the special relationship our family shared with yours. I have many fond memories as I have known each of you and your parents all of my life. I wish I could be there to celebrate her life as I was when your father passed away. Please know I am there in spirit. Love, Jill

Ladies: I very sorry....my heart goes out to you all. The video tribute was just beautiful. Seeing it brought back a lot of wonderful memories of growing up together. Your parents were always the cutest couple. Now they are together again with God. My thoughts and prayers are with you forever.

Dear Family, My heart goes out to you in the loss of your mother. We both spent many years at St. Luke's and served on committees together. She was a kind, gentle, calming lady and always had a hello and a smile when we would meet. The video was wonderful. Sincerely, Mary Taylor

Dear Vicki,Karen,Julie and family, We were so sad to learn of your Mom's death. She was such a gentle, caring person who always made time to ask about our families and lives. She and your Dad were certainly "people persons". They had such fun together and were so proud of their girls and families. We hope the sadness you are now feeling, will soon be replaced by warm and good memories. Thinking of all of you. Fondly, Nyle & Barb

Dear Vickie, Karen and Julie, Jim and I were so pleased with the lovely service this morning. Pastor Slocum did a splendid job, just as she did for your dad. We still miss Donna and Ted so much. I have so many little things to remember her by around the house... yes, she did like to shop. I still see Ted sitting in his chair on the driveway waving and calling to us. When you all lived on 23rd St., I remember his friendly honks as he went by Jim's parent's home. How blessed we were when they became neighbors on Iris. We shared in their joys as you girls and your families reached milestones. How proud they must have been today to see you all seated together in the church they loved so much. Yours is a legacy not many can claim.... First Lutheran where they began married life together, baptized and raised their daughters, saw their daughters married there and, if I remember, saw the baptism of the grandchildren, all at First Lutheran. Now that is being blessed! If our paths do not cross, precious memories are ours. Bless you and "the guys" and the children. Love, Jim and Linda Smith
