Audrey Reggentin Linge-Ovel

Dear Family, We sincerely grieve with you in your loss. Audrey's contributions to our city, to the many lives that she touched, were and will continue to make a difference. To those of her family, whose passing impact your hearts deeply. We are truly sorry for your loss. From the words of Jesus' famous Sermon On The Mount he said: "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs in the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." Our prayer is that indeed, you shall be comforted, and Jesus' love and healing presence may be your abiding guest. Rev. Jack and Marie Kendall

I always felt a certain affinity for Audrey because we were both in-laws in the wildly obstreperous Linge family. When I was young, I found myself observing her, looking for clues on how I could find my own niche in this group. The lesson I took away from those observations was--just be yourself. What you saw with Audrey is what you got. You always knew where you stood with her & if you didn't...well, she didn't mind telling you! I am reminded of words Audrey spoke when our beloved, Nana Linge passed away: "We shall not see her like again." The same words now apply to Audrey. She was a force of nature. All that energy will be greatly missed.

Jerry and family, When that hugh gathering starts to pay tribute to this great lady we will be out of town. That is the only thing that will stop us from being there and we're sorry. This community has lost a great lady who gave more than she took and served as an inspiration. She absolutly did it her way and we tip our hats. Thanks for the memories and God's blessings. Dear Lisa, Dan and John: I'm so sorry about your Mom's passing. I have such wonderful memories of you all and your Mom and Dad in Key Stone w/the Knapp family. Lisa sat backwards in your seat and talked to me on the flight out. You have the zest for life that your parents had. One night in Key Stone, and after a couple of drinks, your Dad and I went up to some floor of the hotel and "borrowed" the ash trays from the trays left outside the rooms doors. I still have mine and think how much fun we all had on that particular vacation. Your Mom had the most wonderful deep laugh that I will never forget. My thoughts and prayers and memories are with you all. Love ya, Ginger

Audrey was my first exposure to FABULOUS. (I debated whether to go w/mushy or light-hearted here. I'm writing this 3 weeks after her passing with tears rolling down my cheeks. I hope all of you know how deeply grateful I am to the Linge and Ovel families. I love you all . . . but there was something about Audrey. She & I formed a special bond of girliness/orneriness/silliness. We never spent long amounts of time together, the bond was just there, like kindred spirits. I remember her being there for my big life events . . . graduations, my wedding, my babies. Now what am I supposed to do?! I was an athlete growing up & Audrey was always encouraging me to be more girly. Well, after 10 years of being married to the greatest person I've ever known, giving birth to 2 ridiculously ornery little boys, at age 36, I am no longer an athlete . . . I AM A GIRL!!! I have a closet overflowing with shoes & purses. ONLY shoes & purses. My life's mantra has become, "You can never have too many lipglosses." I hope Audrey is watching me from Heaven with that certain sparkle in her eye (you all know the one) & perhaps a "bravo!" Well, I've still got tears rolling down my cheeks. I love her so much. My world is a sadder place without her in it . . . and far less fabulous.)
