Charlie was a great guy, I have know since we were very young. He always had a big smile..........walked softly, but you always knew he could handle himself.

My sincere condolences to the the family of Charlie Cox! How well I remember the High School days during 1953 at Marion High when Charlie Cox was an upper classman and I was an under classman. Charlie had such great musical expertise and talent in voice and guitar. He along with his other class mates, Phil Dewees and Dave Cary entertained the rest of us underclassmen and women during many of our High School Friday afternoon Assemblies with their Musical Talents. To Charlie Cox's wife and family....I've lost track of Charlie as the years have gone by and now those years are in the rear view mirror. BUT, having said that I'm sure Charlie with his warm personality had a great life and approached lifes daily challenges with a BIG smile. To Charlies brother Jerry and sister Joan, I also want to send my sincere sympathy. My thoughts are with you both today regarding your loss.

I knew Charles son Chris when we both attended CB Vernon Junior High in Marion, but lost track of Chris shortly after those years. I recently lost my mother Shirley(September 8th) and I know just how hard these times are. My sincere sympathy to all the members of the Cox family. Be strong and available for each other in this time of grief.

Dear Shirley & Family, I am very sorry to learn of Charlie's passing. He was a great guy & dear friend of mine from grade school through HS graduation. We shared a lot of happy times during those years. I am so glad I stopped to see him at the Care Center and to meet you while back in Marion for our 55th HS class reunion. Dick & Ginny Mohr
