Leona E. Reynolds, 83, of Palo, died at her home, Friday, August 15, 2008 after an extended illness. Services; 2 p.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel by the Rev. Marilyn Buchanan from Buffalo United Methodist Church. Interment: Palo Cemetery. A visitation will be held today from 2 to 5 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel and after 1 p.m. Tuesday. Leona is survived by five sisters, Mary Karelvicz ofCedar Rapids, Lillian Brown, Betty DeSotel, and Pauline Hall, all of Marion, and Faye Reynolds of Palo; and her sister-in-law, Shirley Reynolds of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and James Reynolds; and a sister, Ruth Ann Reynolds. Leona was born on February 7, 1925 in Palo to Arthur and Ida Reynolds. She worked for Rockwell-Collins for over 28 years, retiring in 1988. She was also employed by the FBI where she was a fingerprint classifier. She was a member of Buffalo United Methodist Church. Instead of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice of Mercy or Buffalo United Methodist Church.
