Carol and family, Although I had only known Don for a few months I had a special place for him in my heart. I so appreciated his dry sense of humor, his wink, and chuckle. In his own way he had let me know that his spirit and soul were tired, but as he would also say " I'm putting one foot in front of the other." His journey is still continuing...as is his spirit. He will be missed. Sincerely, Laura the Big Beautiful Nurse

Carol, Pam, and Erik, I want to extend my heartfelt sympathy to all of you. It has been a long and tiring road for everyone and while I know Don is at peace, the ache of his passing remains for all of us. Although it's been many years since I first met my friend Pam's dad, I can still remember the sound of his laugh and how welcome he always made feel! I'm thinking of all of you and sending thoughts of strength and hope. Much love, Kim

Carol and family: I just got home from a weekend visiting my son at college and had voice mails from Tom and friends at St. Mark's letting me know about Don's passing. I'm so sorry for the difficult time you have all gone through, and for your loss. Don was a good man, and I enjoyed our business association as well as the friendship of both of you when you had the agency just downstairs from ours. I know that Don has found peace, and I pray for each of you to find God's peace as well.
