David James Imhoff, 56, of Marion, died October 7, 2008 in his home following a short illness. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 10, 2008 at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Garden of Tranquility Section. Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife Jackie and her children Ronnie (Jessica) Heggebo of Vinton, Christopher Heggebo and Misty Cady both of Cedar Rapids; his mother Dorothy Imhoff; his two maternal children Kristy and Jamie; grandchildren Soleil, Mariah, Cassie, Zach, KayLee, RayLynn, Noah, and Leland; brothers Herman, Richard, Dennis, Robert, Tom and Jerry; sisters Irene, Harriett, Doris, Bonnie, and Julie; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Antone, and a brother Eugene.

David James Imhoff was born September 17, 1952 in Cedar Rapids, the beloved son of Antone E. and Dorothy (Beard) Imhoff. He was employed at the Cedar Rapids Schools for several years as a custodian, and for 13 years was a driver for ABC Disposal. He was united in marriage to Jackie on March 30, 1984 in Marengo. He enjoyed working on cars, and fishing.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the memorial fund established in David’s honor.
