In case you were not aware, there is a support group in Cedar Rapids for parents who have lost children. It is at St. Lukes and meets the third Monday of every month. It is called Empty Arms. We go every month and it has been very helpful.

What a beautiful baby! I know of the terrible empty feeling after the loss of such a sweet baby. We lost our son in January to SIDS - he was 6 weeks. I was not able to be present at the delivery of Ella, therefore, unable to have ever seen her, however, I know Janet well and am reassured to know that she will be strong and guide her children through this experience. I was devastated to hear of the news and will continue to pray for the family. I feel blessed to know the family and to be part of your lives.
