Sorry to hear of your loss. I still remember some of the good ole'times we had when we were kids on the farm and one-room school house by Amana. I work for Mercy Home Care and I wanted to let Vern's family know what a privilege it was that I got to know Vern. He was so wise, and such a wonderful man. I could sit and listen to him for hours, which on several occasions, I did. He had a wonderful sense of humor and made me laugh so often. He will be missed.

Very,very sorry for your loss! Vern was one of those men (and there are not many) that you dont hear anyone say anything bad about.
