Wilma E. Kauten

As a child, going over to Wilma's house and spending the weekend was so exciting! We would cook Kraft macaroni (which my mother wouldn't allow us to eat), play the game of LIFE, and just lounge around together. I remember being allowed to sleep in her bed versus the guest bed one weekend....I felt honored. One funny memory is that Wilma always reminded my siblings and me to use only 3 squares of toilet paper when using the restroom. I also remember she always had a cross word puzzle in the bathroom...I could only find one word to her five. Every Christmas, our family would go over to her house for Christmas dinner...this amazing woman would cook for a family of 7 and not even bat an eye. We would eat and play games; it was a lovely tradition!
She was an amazing woman who babysat my 4 siblings and me for many years. I feel honored to have known her!

She was my grandmother and I didn't get to see her too often, but I loved her just the same. I miss her dearly. I LOVE you grandma! Kisses being sent to you up in Heaven!
