Robert Leonard Thompson

I want to express my gratitude and thanks for the many cards, flowers, and memorials in honor of my dad. Your love and care was very touching to us all and we can't thank you enough. He was truly a giving man who touched many lives. I am blessed that he was my dad. Thank you too, for those who were able to come to his service. It was a beautiful and meaningful time to be together.

Grandpa, I love you and miss you so. You will always be in my heart. I cannot tell you how much it meant to me to sit and talk with you for hours about WWII and coins. I still have every coin you ever gave me and I will keep them always. You are such a wonderful man, you touched so many lives without even realizing it. I can't wait to join you and Nana and be in peace forever. :)

To my loved ones- I am so sorry I wasn't able to be there with you today. Please know you are in my heart and in my prayers. I love you all so much. Thank you for being there for me, I hope that I can be a shoulder for ya'll as well. All my love, xoxo, noodles and popcorn!

Sorry to hear of Bobs passing.
We all know he worshiped the lord
& his reward is to be with god at
this very moment.
Knowing Bob he was probably more concerned about the mess at Trinity
& how he could help clean it up.
Gods grace be with you in this time of sorrow. He's in a better place & enjoying the good life.
Blessings to the both of you!

I met Mr. Thompson this past Christmas in Iowa. He prescense filled the room as soon as he arrived. He told me stories of his past and could see the twinkle in his eye while telling them. I only wished I could have known him better. Wish I could have attended the service. God bless his wife, kids and loving family.

Grandpa Thompson was a wonderful Godly man who truly loved his family. I always enjoyed hearing his Germany stories and watching his string trick. He would remind me often that he was my "grandpa" too. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. We wish we could be there with you.
