Dorothy Rothman, 92, of 202 35th St SE, died Saturday September 6, 2008 in St. Luke's Hospital from complications of C.O.P.D. Services: Private. Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Balas Marvin Carney of Cedar Rapids, granddaughters, Revital Kaplan Bradley of New York City, Calaneet Perry Nicholas of Washington D.C. and two great grandchildren, Dalia and Eden Kaplan.
Her parents, a brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Dorothy was born November 21, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of David and Esther Finkle Mazor. She was married to Irvin Lunin and Samuel Rothman. They both preceded her in death. Dorothy was an avid reader. She enjoyed great food and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
