I consider having Chuck Yanda for a cousin as one of my life's richest blessings. He was a great kid and grew up to be an even greater man. I am very proud to call him family. Chuck and his family have always had a special place in my heart. I love them dearly. As children, his sister and I were as unseparable either physically or emotionally. My foundest memories are when we were kids; Sheri and I would do the kissing-cousin thing with Chuck and my brother Layne. Other times Layne and Chuck were busy getting us in trouble by making evident to the adults what we were up to :.I admire Chuck's devotion and commitment to his children and high-school sweetheart, Elaine. I will always miss my dad, he was indeed a great man. He would always sacrifice his time and energy for my mother, my sister, and I. When he died, I didn't just loose a father, I lost a hero, a role model, and a best friend. I would like to share some of my fondest memorys with you. I remember being on vacation in 2000 to the Wisconsin Dells, and it was one of the greatest vacations I have ever took. Dad wanted to do a few things up there, see a few things, visit a few things. But he never did. He sacrificed his entire vacation for us kids. If we wanted to go to the hotel's water park in the daytime, he'd just lay by the pool and watch us. If I wanted to go to the arcade, he'd give me a twenty dollar bill and say "Have fun. Give some money to your sister, too.", and if I wanted to go swim at the indoor park, he'd say "Okay, stay safe and be back by ten." He was just and awsome guy.

May God Bless you all and walk with you on the path during this celebration of life. My family and I lived for a couple of years on the same block as Scott and Chuck. I have some of the funniest pictures of us dressed up in wigs, sun glasses like we were modeling. After all of this time, 30 years later, I ran into Scott working at Mondos and shared this memory with him. He shared about Chuck being ill with cancer. It is never an easy thing to deal with. I will dig out this pictures Scott as I promised and make a copy to give to you. God Bless!!
