To Chuck's family, My friendship with Chuck came about by the number of basketball games that we officiated together through the years. Even though he hung up his whistle, he still helped out at the kid's tournaments. Chuck enjoyed being around youth and sports and I will miss him. Sincerely, Jim Barns

Through Salvation Army and Midwest Sports as a basketball official I saw Chuck often. What I enjoyed about Chuck the most was he always greeted me with a smile. He was one of the few people who loved the Packers even more than I did. We loved to talk about the season. I know how much of a help he was to Steve Stafford. Next season will be emptier without him.
