Viola J. Cline, 81, of 254 Northpointe Drive NE, died at Manor Care on Monday, July 14, 2008, after a long illness. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel by the Rev. Lloyd Brockmeyer. Burial: Linwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Thursday.

Survivors include her husband, Dean; two nephews, Rex and Michael Cline; and two nieces, Roxie Yetter and Sherry Albertson.

Vi was preceded in death by her parents.

Vi was born on September 28, 1926 in McGregor, Iowa and married Dean Cline on October 26, 1968 in Cedar Rapids. She was an avid Chicago Cub and Bear fan and loved to read in her spare time. Vi was a loving wife and aunt.
