Harvey and Clair are my "ex" in-laws - my having been married to their son Michael for 11 years. Clair was always welcoming and sweet to me. It was clear that Harvey and Clair had an enduring and unquestioning love for each other and that they enjoyed their life and the home they had together. I am so glad that Harvey was able to be there for Clair in both their long life together and especially in these past years when Clair had such challenges with her health. I am certain that the loving care to which Harvey was so dedicated, brought peace and comfort to Clair, as she was able to be home and with her beloved. I send my love and condolences to Harvey, and to his children who showed such care and love in Clair's final days. I feel that she left this world knowing that she was surrounded by love.

I've never met Clairbel but I wish I had! Her name caught my attention in the obits in Bethany, MO paper because she is the daughter of my grandpa's brother Earnie is my grandpa.
