Margery Ellen Fiebelkorn, 65, 120 Gypsy Lane, Robins died Friday, May 2, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital following a long illness. Services: 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at King of Kings Lutheran Church. The Rev. Mark Halvorson will officiate. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4PM to 8PM at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, where the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Auxiliary will have a service at 7PM.
Surviving are a brother, Kenneth Hartkemeyer Betty of Norway; a twin sister, Margaret Hartkemeyer of Robins; two sisters-in-law, Doris "Dee" Kriz of Cedar Rapids and Chris Fiebelkorn of Van Horne; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Roger.
Margery was born September 22, 1942 in Cedar Rapids the daughter of Ewald and Mildred Price Hartkemeyer. She married Roger Henry Fiebelkorn on November 6, 1965 in Blairstown. He passed away in 1998. Margery worked for Rockwell Collins as a data entry specialist from 1962 until her retirement in 1987. She was a charter member of King of Kings Lutheran Church, a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, was Past-President of the Eagles Auxiliary, was Past-President of the Retired Eagles Activities Club, was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the V.F.W. Auxiliary and she was National Dat Director for Family Campers and RVer's.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to King of Kings Lutheran Church or to the Order of the Eagles Cancer Fund, Cedar Rapids Chapter.
