Roger C. Gordon

You are all in our thoughts & prayers. Wish so much we could be with you. We hold lots of wonderful memories in our hearts. I'll be forever grateful that I was a part of your family. Uncle Rog bought me my first car, taught me how to drive at Hawkeye Downs & walked me down the isle on my wedding day. Love & Prayers To All Of You, Pat & Marv

I knew Roger from the Cedar Rapids Horsemans Club. When I was a kid, he encouraged me to participate in the horse shows. As a result of his encouragement and direction, I won second place in one of the events. This impacted me in a positive way, and I have always rememberd this when ever I feel that something is too big for me. Thank you Roger for taking the time to be a friend to a young kid.

I feel honored for my daughter and I to have met Roger through our love of horses, and regret only that we had so little time to know him and his family better. He leaves us with a lasting impression of his gusto for life. Our condolences to you for your loss.

You have my deepest sympathy for your recent loss of Roger. I was unable to attend as I was out of town on business when my wife notified me. I worked with Roger at Square D for 10 yrs or so and have known his son John and his family for many years. I really enjoyed working and learning from Roger - especially all of the stories of his past. He was a good friend and fun to be around. You never knew what he was going to come up with. He'll be missed dearly I'm sure.
