Raymond R. Eilers, 93, of 115 Morgan St. SW, died Thursday, April 17, 2008, in Mercy Medical Center following a sudden illness. Graveside services with military honors at 10 AM Monday in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Paul Scheidt will officiate. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 2 to 4 PM on Sunday.

Survivors include his sister Mary Waterhouse of Cedar Rapids and cousins in Missouri and Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Raymond was born July 26, 1914 in Austin, Minnesota to Herman and Clara Rieken Eilers. He served in the US Army during WW II. He worked in the packaging department at Van de Kamp's Bakery for 26 years.
