Memorial

Jennifer Lee Anspach, 22, of Des Moines, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died April 10, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Hillside Wesleyan Church. Rev. Kory Kleinsasser will officiate. Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include her parents Larry Anspach and wife Sylvia of Cedar Rapids; stepmother Jean McDonough of Cedar Rapids; brothers Christopher Anspach of Ames and Jacob Anspach of Cedar Rapids; step brothers Thomas and Daniel Canfield both of Cedar Rapids; grandparents Melvin and Ottis Koehler of Marion, Ohio; her aunt Deborah Koehler-Kantro of Lincoln, Massachusetts, as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Marsha Anspach, an aunt Jane Collins, grandparents James and Helen Anspach., and Ruth Ann and LaDon Mcdonough.

Jennifer Lee Anspach was born October 8, 1985 in Pusan, South Korea and was, adopted by Larry and Marsha Koehler Anspach. She was a 2004 graduate of Linn Mar High School. She chose to further her education by attending the University of North Carolina for one year, then transferring to Drake University where she was currently pursuing an education degree. She was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta- Beta Kappa Chapter at Drake. She greatly enjoyed the activities and friendships she had through her sorority involvement. She was employed at Traditions Child Care Center in Clive, and was previously employed at the Loving Care Learning Center in Cedar Rapids. One of her greatest enjoyments was being with young children, and helping them achieve in the first steps of education. She loved dogs, especially her family dogs, Buddy, Banjo, and Maggie. She enjoyed school, vacations, hanging out with friends, watching movies, and popcorn. Above all Jennifer's greatest enjoyment was her time spent with her family whom she dearly loved.

She will forever be remembered, and deeply missed by many.

Memorial Donations will in Jennifer's honor may be made to: Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation where they will be used for the sorority's Friendship Fund.
