I am a former employee of Keystone Cedar and I moved to California. I will never forget Owen he was one of those people that touched my life. We shared the same birthday and I would always visit when I was back in Iowa. He kept a picture of me on my wedding day in his room. I will never forget him. To all the family, he will be truely missed.

I worked with Owen for several years before he retired at Quaker Oats. I can tell you first hand that Owen was special. Anyone that ever met him, would tell you that their lives were touched by Owen's sense of humor. He was a very caring person as well. Several of my co-workers at Quaker who still live in this area would agree with me. While I won't be able to attend the funeral, my prayers will be with Owen and his family.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I worked with Owen at Quaker for many years prior to his retirement. Owen enjoyed life to the fullest. He was truely a wonderful person. He's known for the pratical jokes he enjoyed playing on others, so its appropriate that his services would be on April Fool's day. He managed to pull some great tricks on people every year. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I first came to knowing Owen and his wife as customers at Drug Town.I learned that Owen worked at Quaker and so did my husband Neal. Then I lost touch with him after his wife died. I later came to find out that he was at Keystone Cedars where my in-laws Kenny and Josephine Krumbholz lived. Kenny would always talk about a man named Owen. Come to find out it was my old customer at Drug Town.So we met up again! My deepest sympathy to your family. He was a great guy!He will truly be missed.
