Dorothy Rundall, 88, of the West Ridge Care Center died there on Thursday March 13, 2008 after an extended illness. Private family services at 11 AM on Friday March 21, 2008 at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Rev. Dave Higdon will officiate. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday March 20th.
Survivors include three sons, Laurence of Mission, Texas, Duane and Ivan both of Cedar Rapids, three daughters, Mary Pollock and Elizabeth Keleher both of Marion and Beverly Carsner of Sebring, Florida, and one brother, Acie Grisham of Lisbon. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters, and one brother.
Dorothy was born on July 31, 1920 in Fairfax, the daughter of Gordie and Jessie Mahaffey Grisham. She married Robert B. Rundall on Sept. 26, 1938 in Martell. He died in 1982. Dorothy worked at Collins in the packaging dept. and retired from there after amore than 30 years of service. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and dancing. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and touched many people's lives. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Four Oaks in Dorothy's name. The family would like to give a special thank you to; Dr. Mary Anne Nelson, West Ridge Care Center and to "All of Dorothy's Girls".
