Rebecca L. Nash, 73, of 2110 First Ave NE, died Saturday, March 8, 2008, in the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy following a year long bout with cancer. Services at 11 AM Wednesday in Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday and at the chapel after 10:30 AM on Wednesday.

Survivors include her husband John, her children Kathy Bob Kaufman of Cedar Rapids, David Cheryl Potter of San Bernardino, California, Kelly Bruce Trumpold of Amana, Iowa, and Brian Potter of Glendora, California, two sisters Joann Richards of Canada, and Judy Russ Cosens of Jefferson, Iowa, a brother Phillip Debbie Kennedy of Grimes, Iowa, two step sons J. Connor Julie Nash of Reno, Texas, Tim Arlene Nash of Charlottesville, Virginia, and a step-daughter Roxanne Nash of Cedar Rapids, nine grandchildren, Rob Kaufman, Chase, Brenton, Westley, Rick, and Luke Potter, Nicole, and Chelsea Trumpold, and Dave Ayers., three great-grandchildren, and three step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Doug and Stanley Clark, and Dennis Kennedy, son Stanley Potter, great-granddaughter Trinity Kaufman, and step granddaughter Holli Nash.

Rebecca was born February 28, 1935, in Cooper, Iowa to John and Anna Kelley Clark. She married John Nash on May 18, 1973 in Cedar Rapids. She was the owner and operator of the St. Luke's Beauty Shop in the 1970's. She had also worked in sales at Armstrong's and Younkers.

She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile. She enjoyed bowling, playing pool, and working with flowers. She was an avid Cubs and Vikings fan, and enjoyed tea parties with her granddaughters.
