Sandra J. Jones, 79, of 1725 D Ave. NE. died Sat. Feb. 23, 2008 at St. Lukes Hospital after a short illness. Services at 3:00 PM on Thursday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Rev. William Harnish will officiate. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM on Wed.
Survivors include two sons, David Barbara of Apple Valley, MN., Thomas of Cedar Rapids and one daughter, Sharon Joel Camp of Ft. Worth, Texas. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Larry, one brother and three sisters,
Sandra was born on Aug. 24, 1928 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Everett and Grace Butters Wolfe. She married Firman L. Jones in Cedar Rapids. He died in 1990. Sandra worked at Wilson and Co. for many years. She was a very talented artist, painting in both oils, pastels and working with many materials in her artwork. She was a people person, very outgoing with a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed.
