Mary Lois Lyon
Lois spent countless hours volunteering at the library during story times and summer reading. Children adored her stories and good nature. I miss her reviews of the latest thriller or gory mystery that she has read. God blessed my life with Lois.

Jeanne, Butch, Jason, TJ, and Chad. I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I was talking with Jason yesterday and told him how I remember Lois always having a loving and kind word for everyone. I will always hold close the family holidays where everyone wih full bellies of Lois's cooking grew eager to move on to the big games of scrabble. I feel blessed to have ever been a part of those events. I will also remember how Lois always accepted people exactly for who they were and give the sweetest of hugs... Finally, when sitting down for a good hearty meal, i will always remember to, "not swear to the table". I wish the best for you all and will keep you in my thoughts as you go through this difficult time. Much love and Sympathy, Dawn

Jeanne and Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. It's never easy losing a loved one, especially one of our parents. I have wonderful memories of your whole family from growing up just down the street together. I pray the good memories of your mother will stay close in your heart. Karen Sands

I remember Ms. Lyon when her granddaughter, Amanda Cousins was still alive. We were best friends... We stopped out there the same summer that Amanda passed. She was very kind lady, who had nothing bad to say to anyone and welcomed me into her home with open arms. When at Amanda's funeral, she remembered me like we were old friends. She never forgotten anyone. I pray for your family at this sad time of loss. I know that this is definately a hard time. Crysta Walker

Jeanie, Merle, and Family, We are so very sorry to hear of your mom's passing, Jeanie. What a character she was! We will always remember the fun fishing trips we took w/ Pete and Lois. There was never a lack of laughs, good food, and fun times. And we are so glad that she was able to live close by you and your family! I know you will cherish your wonderful memories of her! You have our deepest sympathy.

My Dear Sweet Auntie Lois, I am so privilaged to have her in my life. Thinking back thru my childhood, and on, holds many loving memories, of her being there with all her gentle ways. We will miss that pretty face and a smile that would light up a room. Now she can be with Uncle Pete and the rest of our loved ones who have left us behind. She will be oh so missed.
