My mother counted Chris as a close friend. I feel honored that I could learn to be a friend from the example she showed. She touched my life during a very troubled and fragile time. I had tears in my eyes when I read Chris's obituary. She was the "sunshine and warmth" for all of us fortunate enough to have known her in Naples. We have been part time residents of Olde Cypress since 2002--so Chris has been with us the entire time. After my husband had his stroke, she was so good to help his shop for me in the pro shop choosing cute outfits. The last time that I saw Chris last May before returning to Ohio, she was cute and peppy dispite all that she had been through at that time. Chris was a wonderful person. She watched our dog while we traveled, and her love for animals was a gift she shared with many of us here in Florida.
