Nila, Neil and families, You are in my heart and prayers as you go through this difficult time. What a neat lady Naomi was, so thoughtful and caring. I remember how welcomed she made my mother feel when we moved to Urbana, just two houses away from you. Many of my childhood memories are of times spent with your family - playing at your house, bon-fires at your grandparents farm, Naomi taking us to our first Elvis movie - the "clubs" she got us involved in - piano duets we would practice in your dining room -still more memories of attending the Methodist church - our parents singing in the adult choir - the pot lucks and MYF. In later years, I enjoyed the telephone visits I had with her. Keep the good memories of your mom close to your hearts and she will never be far away.

Neil and Nila, I am sorry for the loss of your mother. She was an incredible woman. I really enjoyed talking with her. I can still remember when she used to babysit with me. The bananas and milk she used to make for me, and her cat that used to scare me. She would tell me that old cat would not hurt me. I missed her when she moved and I'll miss her in this world.
