This woman my sister had a great philosophy of life. Her strength of character and faith saw all of us through many difficult times. Her sense of humor saved all of us from many, many difficult situations. I love you Marilyn and will see you in heaven. To her dear children, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am sorry that I cannot be there but please know that I am with you in spirit and hope to see you in the Spring.

As you already know your Mother our Auntwas the heart and light where ever she traveled to. It's hard to think about weeping for her because even in the most troubling of times her great humor and wit trancended the event regardless of the magnitude. I have been truely blessed to have known her, laughed with her, and will always have admiration and love for her.

Over the last 14 years you have made our world a better place just by being in it. I can't begin to express how much I will miss you, I know in my heart you are in a better place. The selfish side of me was not ready to let you go, so I have to believe that God needed you to help mediate between the angels. God Bless You Marilyn

I wish to express my sincere sympathy to you and your family on the passing of Marilyn. I first met her about 5 years ago when I transfered to the Courthouse Security Unit. She was so full of life and had such a quick witt that I nicknamed her "Spunky." My partner Joe Losch and I always looked forward to seeing her each week. We were shocked to hear of her illness and very saddened to learn of her passing. I know that Spunky would have given her illness a good fight and passed from this life with honor. Please know that she will be remembered and missed by the people that knew her. God Bless. Warren Bigelow Deputy Sheriff Courthouse Security Unit Linn County Sheriff's Office

Marilyn showed an extraordinary passion for the things and people she loved. I am glad to have known her through volunteer work at the Linn County Courthouse. She will be greatly missed by the close-knit group; she was the devoted friend, leader, and historian. My deepest sympathy to your family.
