Our condolences to your family in the loss of your Mother. She sounds like a wonderful person. I saw her memorial when I logged in to sign Kelly Tharp's book. My first married family were the Darville Atherton family from the Biscoe/Wheeler Texas area. Darve and his wife, Sammie, loved Atherton family history and said all the Athertons were related.

Dear Paul and Family. I remember your mother when we lived on 34th Street in Cedar Rapids. We lived in the middle of the block and my maiden name was Stanton. Your mother was always good to the kids in the neighborhood and I spend a lot of days up at your house. She lived a long and a good live.

Paul & family, Sorry to hear about your mom. I worked with her at Collins back in the 60's. She was a wonderful lady and I always wondered what happened to her. She lived a good and long life. She always brought in to work good cookies or cake & shared her recipes with us. I shall remember her always. God bless your family.
