Bobbie Jo Oster, 37, of Cedar Rapids, died August 23, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital following an extended illness. Private Family Services will be held at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Private Entombment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include her loving husband of 15 years Michael P. Oster; her son Matthew Oster of Cedar Rapids; mother Carolyn L. Schmidt of Denver, CO; brother Clifford Schmidt and wife Brenda of Winston Salem, NC; mother-in-law Rosemary Oster of Cedar Rapids; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father William Goodin, and father-in-law Leroy Oster.

Bobbie Jo Oster was born March 3, 1970 in Denver, Colorado the beloved daughter of William Goodin and Carolyn Louise Waddell. Her greatest passion and enjoyment in life was her family. She and Mike opened their life and home to numerous foster children throughout the years which brought her an extended family, and with that, more enjoyment.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests, donations may be made to a memorial fund established in Bobbie's honor.
