Douglas Ronald Tietge, 7 weeks old, was granted his angel wings Sunday, July 29th, 2007. Born June 10th to loving parents Sarah and Chad Tietge, of 3020 Circle Dr NE. He was loved and spoiled by big sisters Megan and Ashley. Funeral services will be Thursday, Aug 2, 2007 at 11am with visitation at 10am at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories.

Douglas is survived by grandparents Nana Deb and Papa Bill of Camdenton , Mo and Ronald Tietge of Cedar Rapids and Great-Grandma Stella of Davenport. Aunts and uncles: Derek and family, Nick, Mike, Heather and Tori , Tammy VanBogart, and Cindy and Dan Carpenter numerous cousins and many family friends. He was preceded in death by Great-Grandpa Arthur Douglass, Great-Grandpa Bill and Great-Gramma Betty and Grandma Bonnie Tietge, who are now holding him in heaven. He is being guarded in heaven by his dog Brit.

In his life, Douglas loved to camp, fish, and be outdoors with his family, around the bonfire. He especially loved the 4th of July fireworks with his Nana and Papa in the Ozarks. He had just learned to giggle and smile, which brought great joy to everyone who loved him. His favorite toys were a bear and turtle from his sisters. There are no words to express how much he will be loved and missed by his entire family and friends.
