Thank you to family, friends and the many special "huntin and fishin" buddies that have expressed their thoughts and sent words of encouragement to the Elchlepp family. We will certainly miss his humor, his quick tongue, wit and 'advice' on conservation, how to hold the pole and just the right time to 'set the hook'.

Grandpa, You will be missed greatly. But I hope that your up there fishing, becuase that is what you loved to do. And when you catch the "big one" you can tell everyone just how big the fish is. I know that when I teach Charlotte how to fish that you will be there telling us to watch our bobber, and to set the hook. We love you very much. Love Nikki and Charlotte

Jim and Ruby are at a grandson's wedding at Flathead Lake, Montana, and I will let them know when they get home on Tuesday. Our deepest sympathy to you all. Love, Clyde and Tricia Berlinger

I sure will miss our annual fishing get togethers. It was fun hearing all your stories every year. Every time I wear my Captain's cap I will think of all the good times we have had. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Captain Ken Klas, Seahawk Charters

We will always treasure the time we spent as neighbours. Doc welcomed us warmly, sharing whatever he had on the BBQ that night, teaching Nancy about the prey in his garage or basement and guiding us on our journey into home ownership and parenthood. His honesty and kindness will never be forgotten. He will be missed deeply.

I will never forget that Memorial Day weekend at Holiday Lake when we caught hundreds of crappies. We cleaned fish until we were cross-eyed! The few times I saw Doc in later years he always reminded me of that weekend so it must have been one of his favorite memories, too.
