Scott S. Oglesby, 48, of Hiawatha died March 2, 2007 following a sudden illness in Deforest, WI. Memorial Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 6 PM at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home with a memorial service beginning at 6 PM. Rev. William B. Harnish will officiate.

Survivors include daughters Meghan Oglesby of New York, NY, and Jessica Oglesby of Iowa City. Also surviving are sisters Vallerie Jannie and husband Louis of Marion, Tana Thoeny of Deforest, WI, and brother Bryan L. Oglesby of Flagstaff, AZ.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents.

Scott Schultz Oglesby was born August 23, 1959 in Cedar Rapids the beloved son of Bryan Gail and Phyillis Valliere Oglesby. He was a 1977 graduate of Marion Highschool. He was a member of Local 3 Bricklayers Union. Scott enjoyed outdoors, collecting antiques, cooking, and his family. Scott will be remembered as a loving father, brother, and friend and will be greatly missed by his family and friends that loved him dearly.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Scott's honor.
