Mavis Marie Erceg, 75, of Cedar Rapids, passed away early Saturday, February 24, 2006 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. There will be no funeral services held. Arrangements entrusted to Cedar Memorial Funeral Home.

She is preceded in death by her parents William H. White, Sr. and Laura E. Williams, and her sister Elizabeth D. Sarchett.

Survivors include five brothers; William H. White, Jr. of Cedar Rapids, Marcus A. White of Bertram, Harold L. White of Marion, Donald D. White of Bach Texas, and David L White of Cedar Rapids. Also surviving are children Craig A. Abraham of Oxford, and Deborah S. Springman of Hiawatha, as well as five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Mavis lived in Cedar Rapids for the past 36 years. She loved to work in her flower gardens and enjoyed spending time with her family. Mavis was a wonderful cook and seamstress. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial donations in Mavis' honor may be made to St. Luke's Hospice, or a charity of the donor's choice.
